Mary Magdalene Statue from Saunière's Rennes-le-Chateau Church
At Mary's feet is a skull resting on an open book. Curious as to if there was any writing on it's pages, they may be another of Sauniere's clues, I took some photographs of the pages.

I was surprised to see there was something written on the pages, but if it was a language, it wasn't a language I could readily identify. There was also a cross.

I first thought it might be in code but if it is I haven't been able to work it out yet. If anyone works it out or recognizes it as an actual language, please let me know at benhammot2@aol.com
