While looking through my collection of Rennes-le-Chateau photographs and old photos taken during Sauniere's time, I noticed certain changes to Sauniere's domain that were not there when it was completed by the priest. These alterations must have been carried out more recently by someone, so I set out to find out who was responsible and why.
I was lucky enough to be invited into the Chateau d'hautpoul at Rennes-le-Chateau. This article contains some photographs of what I found inside.
How important are they in solving the Berenger Sauniere Mystery?
The Fleury Tableau is the largest single piece of artwork in the Rennes-le-Chateau church and it contains many anomalies.
